Revisiting Perspectives On Cultural Resource Management In The West
A collection of essays was initially released forty years ago under the title Perspectives in Archaeological Resources Management in the Great Plains (1987). It was widely used then as a reference but has since gone out of print. In an attempt to preserve this important collection of essays by some of the leading archaeologists of the West during the last century, this new version of the collection, with several new additions, is being released.
We have been here before. Perhaps the lessons learned during the 1970s and 1980s as described in this collection of papers will help those responsible for CRM today.
